System Monitoring and Operator Intervention Methods for the Darlington Fuel Handling Man/Machine Interface

Abstract
This paper describes new operator monitoring and intervention mechanisms designed for the Darlington F/H system used at the Darlington Nuclear Power Station. The mechanisms are a) a series of menu driven, two dimensional illustrations of field equipment in the field status, and b) a method of providing computer assistance for operator intervention procedures.
