Abstract

After 11 years operation of the 200 MWe Douglas Point Nuclear Generating Station, leakage of heavy water occurred in the Moderator Piping System (pipe sizes 19 mm to 76 mm) which was located in a vault below the reactor where the radiation fields during shutdown ranged up to 5000 R/hr.
