Abstract

Teletrans is a concept that combines and optimizes teleoperation remote contained transfer. Application to Tokamak enables to open vacuum vessel into high integrity contained transfer enclosures. They carry their inner teleoperation system and connect by double door technique either to torus or to shielded contained hot cells. High radiation around reactor needs not contained teleoperators in the reactor hall, which is then free of contamination by tritium and erosion products.
