In-vault Shielding Equipment - Pickering 1 and 2 Retubing

Abstract

Two types of personnel shielding equipment were provided by General Electric Canada for use in the reactor vault for the Pickering Pl/P2 channel replacement program. This paper describes the equipment, the effective- ness of the shielding provided and the adaptability to future fully remote fuel channel replacement.
