Mandatory Testing of Safety Systems at an Operating CANDO Plant

Abstract

Mandatory tests are tests of Special Safety or Safety-Related systems which must be done at regularly scheduled intervals. The test results are reviewed and completion of the tests reported to the authority to whom the testing has been committed. Generally most routine testing is done on systems which are not normally active and is the major method of identifying problems with those systems.
