Principles and Techniques to Accelerate the 'Realization' of Nuclear Plant

Abstract

As part of continuing studies to reduce cost and construction time of nuclear plants, the authors have formulated three principles for the successful realization of a major nuclear plant. These principles are, Standardization, Parallel Work and Improved Efficiency of Work. They are derived from first hand discussions with leading utilities and reactor manufacturers around the world.
