Acceleration Strategies for the Interface Current Method

Abstract

The solution of the three-dimensional transport equation using the interface current method generally involves a very slowly converging iterative process. Here, we propose three different techniques which succeeded in reducing drastically the number of iterations necessary to obtain converged flux and current solutions to the transport equation.
