Industrially Scalable Fabrication of Additively Manufactured Molybdenum Alloys
Main Article Content
Abstract
The additive manufacture of high density, high hardness molybdenum-titanium-zirconium(TZM) is shown to be feasible using standard metal powder bed fusion equipment. Through the use of careful process parameter optimization, a technique for fabricating near net-shape components that minimize the use of machining and welding is shown, thereby, providing a potential pathway to greater adoption of TZM for high temperature structural material usage.
