Nuclear Reactors to Reduce GHG Emissions from International Shipping

Abstract

International shipping is a major source of GHG emissions. Nuclear power could power ships without producing GHGs or other pollutants that adversely affect human health and the environment. The technology has already proven to be technically feasible but there concerns with economic and social feasibility in the future.
