Recent Experiments on the STOR-M Tokamak
Main Article Content
Abstract
Recent experiments on the STOR-M tokamak have been focused on basic tokamak physics and technology development. Active control of the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) instabilities has been achieved by helical resonant magnetic perturbations (RMPs). Improved confinement has been induced by gas puffing during ohmic discharges. Momentum injection from a tangentially injected compact torus (CT) plasmoid to the STOR-M discharge has been observed.
