Management of Irradiated Components from the Pickering Units 1/2 Retube
Main Article Content
Abstract
The retubing of the Unit land 2 reactors at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station will produce about 230 Mg of high level radioactive waste components. Prior to permanent disposal, these components will be stored on-site in concrete
containers called Dry Storage Modules. The Irradiated Component Management System provides the capability to load, handle, and store the modules.
