Abstract

Recent developments in Charged Coupled Device (CCD) cameras have made real and semi-real time neutron radioscopy an affordable and reasonable alternative to neutron radiography utilising film techniques. Developing and analysing the capability of a Neutron Radioscopy System (NRS) at the SLOWPOKE-2 Facility at Royal Military College (RMC) was carried out with the result that neutron radioscopy was determined to be feasible for use in the detection of water ingress in CF-18 flight control surfaces.
