Support Services for Operating CANDU's

Abstract

In recognition of both a business opportunity and of a take in the safe and reliable operation of CANDU power stations, Atomic Energy of Canada Limited has established a special business unit called CANDU Operating Station Services, or "COSS". This paper describes the role and functions of COSS: its relationship to clients, other AECL organizational units, and to consultants; and its method of operating.
