Abstract

The preliminary analysis of the non-condensable gas resolution and release phenomena in reactor thermal- hydraulics is presented. The transport equation for the dissolved gas content is proposed. The model for gas release and resolution rate is developed for the bubbly flow. The approach to calculate this rate for other two-phase flow regimes is discussed. From the analysis of experimental data, the correlations for the equilibrium concentration for air components have been developed.
