Approach for Seismic Risk Analysis for CANDU Plants in Korea

Abstract

A seismic risk analysis for CAW type plants has never been performed. The study presented here suggests that the approach generally applied to LWR type plants could lead to unacceptable result, if directly applied to CANDU plants. This paper presents a modified approach for the seismic risk analysis of CANDUplants.
