Abstract

This paper will offer a brief introduction into the thermal spray process followed by a description of the administration and application of spray coatings to conventional and nuclear components/parts for repair or corrosion coatings. This will include a practical discussion of equipment requirements, application methods, operator qualification, coatings used, finishing techniques and documentation for various components.
