Use of a Project Evaluation and Ranking System in Ontario Hydro Nuclear Operations Branch

Abstract
This paper describes a system developed to evaluate and rank projects in Ontario Hydro's Nuclear Operations Branch. This system involves determining the value of project induced changes using a simple questionnaire and computer spreadsheet, and then transferring the results to a master database for the ranking to be done on a benefit/cost basis. All capital projects in the branch are now being evaluated and ranked using this system.
