Life Cycle Management in the US Stone and Webster's Experience
Main Article Content
Abstract
Life Cycle Management (LCM) is a sound methodology that integrates plant operations, maintenance requirements and practices, capital improvements, radioactive waste strategies, decommissioning and life extension. It is a structured decision-making process for plant aging management and performance improvement. Stone & Webster has used this process for many fossil plants and is now using it at several nuclear plants. This paper discusses Stone and Webster's experiences with LCM programs at U.S. nuclear power plants.
