PNGS-A Unit 4 Composite Graphite Valve Packing Program

Abstract

During the PNGS-A Unit 4 retube/rehabilitation outage, a composite graphite packing program was completed on 100 conventional valves and 50 nuclear -valves. This paper will detail the repacking program for the nuclear valves by describing component refurbishment, related maintenance and manpower requirements.
