MOV Predictive Maintenance Program at Darlington NGS

Abstract

This paper details the MOV Predictive Maintenance Program, at Darlington NGS. The program encompasses the use of diagnostics tooling in conjunction with more standard maintenance techniques with the goal of improving overall performance of station MOV's. This paper discusses the advantages of such a program. The MOV problems encountered and the solutions developed during the first two phases of this program are presented, along with proposed actions for the final trending phase of the program. Although termed as an MOV predictive maintenance program, this paper also touches upon the preventative and corrective maintenance aspects of an overall MOV maintenance program.
