Steam Generator Simulation Test for Thermal Hydraulic and Flow Induced Vibration Codes Qualification: the CLOTAIRE Program
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Clotaire international program has been launched by several countries and companies to create a data bank containing both thermalhydraulic and flow induced vibration measurements needed for the qualification of P.W.R. steam generator computer codes. The experimental program consists of measuring in a large scale S.G. mock-up, simultaneous local thermalhydraulic parameters by means of a very sophisticated instrumentation and tube vibration under various antivibration bar configurations. The experimental part of the program was carried out in 1989 in a boiler configuration. Further experiments are scheduled in both boiler and axial economizer configurations.
