Developing a Steam Generator for Qin Shan 1 N,x

Abstract

Qin Shan 1 is the first nuclear power plant with output of 300 MWe in P.R. China. We set up an extensive research and development program and built test rigs to develop a reliable steam generator. Two steam generators were delivered, then installed in Qin Shan 1 in May and June, 1989. This paper introduces Qin Shan 1 steam generator, development of moisture separation equipment, trial producing Incoloy 800 tube and manufacture technologies.
