DASA - A Software System for Evaluating Quality of Fuel Production

Abstract

A computer program has been developed and implemented to evaluate quality of first load fuel for the CIRENE prototype reactor. The system is capable of collecting and storing all data related to each characteristic of the fuel bundles and their components. Sampled populations are described by appropriate analytical functions that make their statistical processing easy. A few applications to important fuel characteristics are discussed to show the methodology of the analysis and the capabilities of the system.
